On June 14, 2024 a
Conference on Patent Quality
took place.
Declining patent quality is in the meantime not only a concern of industry but also patent attorneys, academia, judges and even the staff of the EPO share these concerns. Different speakers from academia, industry, patent office, and court therefore discussed the importance of valid and enforceable patents.
There were short presentations followed by a panel discussion and a Q&A session with questions from the participants. Participation was possible online and on-site.
